How to set layout preferences for clips?

This guide explains how to set a default layout preference for all clips. This feature is particularly useful when targeting specific social platforms!

Step 1: Start by navigating to the settings. Locate the preferences option in the drop-down menu and select it.

Step 2: Scroll down to find the section titled "Preview clip layout for shorts and chapters."

Step 3: Next, click on "edit."

Step 4: Here, select the default layout desired for the shorts.

Step 5: This feature is beneficial when targeting specific social platforms. For instance, the square layout is preferred on Twitter.

Step 5: The same applies to chapters on the YouTube platform.

Landscape mode is a preferred mode here.

Select landscape, and both these layout options will be the default selected when creating & generating short clips and chapters for video projects.
